10. An interest acquired by a person in a deposit of money after the date of the suspension or cancellation of a deposit institution’s authorization or after the suspension, rescission or expiry of a policy issued by the Authority under section 34 of the Act does not constitute a new deposit for the purposes of the guarantee.

10.
